Personality:

Iyashi Kirei is a travelling healer. He's been on the road for two years, now, going from town to town to help people. He carries a bag full of medicinal herbs and utensils, as well as huge book in which he writes about each healing case he encounters. Because of this, he's given himself an excellent resourse of information as he learns about new techniques or variations of old ones.

He stays in towns and cities for as long as there are sick people, or until he has given everyone there a thorough examination. He often walks up to random people and tells gives them advice on how to better their health, even if they seem perfectly fine. He almost has a sixth sense about illnesses and injuries.

Iyashi, when in his "healing mode", is not the most gentle of people. He's so focused on the injury that he might accidently grab it wrong, causing the patient of cry out in pain. :) They feel better afterward, however, so they don't bug him too much. On a flip side, it has been reported that in extreme cases, Iyashi puts his hands on an injury or the area of illness and a warm sensation tingles over the patient. After this, the affected area is considerably less painful, even fully healed. There are rumors that accomplished healer's have what's called a "healer's touch", and it is believe Iyashi has this.

While helping people as he comes across them, Iyashi also is searching for something. What, as of yet, is unknown.

Iyashi is a very quiet and laid back person. He is not overtly expressive of himself, and can sometimes be very hard to read because of that. He always seems mildy happy, or surprised, or concerned, or whatever emotion is appropriate for the situation. Otherwise, he keeps his many thoughts to himself. Because he is so locked in his own head, at times he only half listens, causing for some very interesting reactions when he realizes what he's talking about. ;)

Iyashi is an only child. He left his home to begin travelling shortly after his mother died. His father is trying to break out into the political scene.
